Daniel Radcliffe emotes all over Slow Clubs Beginners video: Watch it here!
You know how Jon Hamm will basically show up to do anything that sounds fun, which is why he picked up more on-air time than Jay Pharoah on Saturday Night Live last season? Apparently, the British equivalent of What if we got the guy from Mad Men to do a funny accent? is Lets put one of those Harry Potter kids in a music video.
Rupert Grint had a star turn in Ed Sheerans video for Lego House not too long ago, and perhaps not wanting to be one-upped by on-screen brother-in-law (SPOILER ALERT FOR INFORMATION THAT HAS BEEN AVAILABLE FOR LITERALLY YEARS), Daniel Radcliffe stars in the one-shot video for Slow Clubs Beginners. In a single take, Radcliffe emotes all over a deserted pub and goes through a handful of breakdowns that manifest themselves in punching, leaping, playing air guitar, falling over, and ill-executed lip-syncing. Check out the clip below.
Radcliffe is pretty convincing as an emotional wreck who doesnt have the benefit of mystical words and convoluted time travel scenarios to get him out of jams. Between his catharsis and that shirt, could this be a back door audition to play Hunter S. Thompson in another adaptation of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? Or perhaps that long-awaited Magnum P.I. film? Or a super creepy version of Chip and Dales Rescue Rangers? Seriously, that s! hirt cra y.
