Daniel Radcliffe talks playing a regular role for 'The F Word'

From Harry Potter to The Woman in Black, Daniel Radcliffe has proven his ability to move on from his most iconic character to a much more adult resembled character.

Radcliffe is taking on romantic comedy now in the upcoming film, The F Word, which he discussed in an interview with ET Online.

The 23-year-old says of his role, I'm very good at giving advice that I don't follow myself. Radcliffe plays Wallace opposite Zoe Kazan (Its Complicated), in the Michael Dowse directed film.

The F Word centers on Wallace and Chantry (Kazan), two friends who struggle with their friendship which becomes more romantic over time. The film also features Rafe Spall, Adam Driver, Amanda Crew and Megan Park.

"This is the first time that I've done something contemporary....It's nice to be in normal clothes and saying words that I might say, Radcliffe confesses.

Since completing the Harry Potter series, Radcliffe has lent his voice to The Simpsons and starred in The Woman in Black. He is also set to take on roles in Kill Your Darlings and Horns.

The F Word comes out in 2013.
