Daniel Radcliffe: 'I Worry About Acting Work'

Daniel Radcliffe has admitted that he worries about his work as an actor drying up now that the Harry Potter movie series has finished.

The former boy wizard admitted that he is afflicted by self-doubt during a web chat as part of The Trevor Project's Talk to Me Campaign - for National Suicide Prevention Month.

Digital Spy quoted him as saying: "When you do feel self-doubt or you do feel unhappy and you talk to someone about it, it's better, I do believe that a problem shared is a problem halved.

"But with things like self-doubt and the slightly more nagging things you do have to have to live with them for a while. You have to live in that place for a bit and if that really frightens you then that's when turning to a friend will help.

"Those are the times when the quality of the relationships around you are really what is most important in life, in anyone's life."

And the 23-year-old confessed that he doubted his own talents as an actor.

"A lot of the time it's fighting your own insecurity and doubt and this is something I talk to a lot of actors about," he explained

"Most of the actors I know are also some of the most neurotic people I know and it's strange that a combination like that exists so much.

"I think for a lot of the time about the jobs that I've got coming up I have a lot of nerves about them."

D-Rad has been cast in a forthcoming Sky Arts drama alongside Jon Hamm.
