Daniel Radcliffe Praised For 'Doing Something New' In Woman In Black
Daniel Radcliffe has been praised for his performance in 'The Woman in Black' by co-star Janet McTeer, who has said that the actor is brave for performing outside of his comfort zone.
Radcliffe has worked hard to separate himself from his 'Harry Potter' past, first by taking to the Broadway stage in 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying', and now with a film that is far removed from his wizardry roots.
McTeer told E! Online: "He's so incredibly intelligent and incredibly bright. He's trying to do something totally new to him - very, very, very talented."
However, she is unsure if Potter fans will take to the film, adding: "I imagine some of them will like it, but I imagine some of them will want him to be Potter. For some it will take a bit of adjustment to realise he's not just Harry Potter but he's an actor who is now doing some fantastic things."
Radcliffe recently revealed that he was allergic to the pair of glasses he wore on 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'.
'The Woman in Black' is released on February 3, 2012.
