Daniel Radcliffe As The Flash: Can You See It?

What does one do after defeating the world's most powerful and deadly dark wizard? Island-bound retirement with cocktails and beach views aplenty is certainly a justifiable option. For Daniel Radcliffe, however, the British actor has opted for more work, work, work.

The "Harry Potter" star has already followed up his eight-film performance as the boy wizard with a stint on Broadway and a leading man turn in the horror flick "The Woman in Black." What's next on his to-do list? Well, this news is filed in the "comic book movie" bin for a reason: according to the actor himself, he'd like to learn how to run really, really fast.

Collider recently spoke with Radcliffe and asked him if he'd ever be interested in signing on for a superhero movie. According to the man himself, not only is he up for it, he's got his eye on a certain Scarlet Speedster.

"Yeah, absolutely," he said about his interest in comics films. "I dunno who's left. I mean a lot of comic books have they've all been done. I don't think anyone's done The Flash yet, and that's one I'd probably have a go at. Other than that, I'm not sure which comic book heroes are left."

There are certainly a lot of comic book heroes still left, and Flash is absolutely one of them. I think Radcliffe would be an awesome choice for Wally West should a "Flash" movie ever come to fruition, but given the current state of DC Comics' New 52 universe, Barry Allen is the more likely protagonist and that's not a role Radcliffe's quite as equipped to play, I think. Still, it's an interesting h! ypotheti cal to consider. How would you feel if Radcliffe was cast as the Flash?
