WENN Daniel Radcliffe shot to fame playing Harry Potter from JK Rowling's infamous children's book collection but now the actor is determined to tear himself away from the role of the famous boy wizard and create a name for himself pursuing other acting roles. Radcliffe gone on to feature in theatre productions including Woman in Black and more recently playing the Beat generation poet Allen Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings, since the Potter movies and feels he's finally moving away from his most famous role. The 23-year-old claimed he is aware that the legacy of Harry Potter will live on but wants to be able to play more than one character and is hoping to expand his skills as an actor. The goal is to make myself an actor rather than just one character. I think thats starting to happen, he told Empire magazine.
