Daniel Radcliffe rumored to star in 'Frankenstein' remake
The actor is rumored to play helper Igor in the upcoming remake of the horror classic.
Rumor has it that Daniel Radcliffe, best known for his role as the boy-wizard Harry Potter, is going to be playing doctors helper Igor in an upcoming rendition of the film Frankenstein.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Max Landis is writing the script for this version of the movie, based on Mary Shelley's 19th century novel. The remake will reportedly be filmed from Igors point of view.
While no casting has been officially confirmed, Perez Hilton reported that filming for the flick is set to start sometime this upcoming fall.
After concluding the Harry Potter franchise, Radcliffe has set out to make a new name for himself, to general success with films such as The Woman in Black and Kill Your Darlings and Broadway plays Equus and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. His on-stage performances were particularly memorable Radcliffe went nude in Equus and learned to sing for his 10-month stint in Business.
Radcliffe is rumored to be dating Kill Your Darling costar Erin Drake.
