Daniel Radcliffe on Out cover, lists 'Harry Potter' films he wouldn't watch
Daniel Radcliffe appears on the cover of Out magazine's March 2013 issue and the now adult "Harry Potter" star reflects on his transition from child star to life-long actor, playing gay beat poet Allen Ginsberg and which "Harry Potter" movies he wouldn't want to watch.

Radcliffe stars as Ginsberg in the film "Kill Your Darlings," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last month. The movie tells the story of how a 1944 murder brought together the great poets of! a generation. It also stars Elizabeth Olsen as Edie Parker and Ben Foster as William S. Burroughs.
The 23-year-old actor makes it clear in his interview that he plans on being an actor for a long time and that he's not in it for the fame.
"I've always said that it's a long process, and in a way it may be a lifelong one," he told the magazine. "It's about proving to people that I'm in this for the long haul, and that I wasn't just looking to get as famous as I could for as long as I could and ride that out. I love almost every aspect of this industry and I want to be in it, and if I could drop dead on a film set at 80, that's how I'd want to go."
Radcliffe is just the latest actor to play Ginsberg on film. James Franco played the poet in the 2010 film "Howl" and David Cross played Ginsberg in the 2007 film "I'm Not There." Cross also stars in "Kill Your Darlings," however, this time he plays Ginsberg's father.
Radcliffe, a noted LGBT rights supporter who was honored by the Trevor Project in 2011, was also asked by the magazine about the gay sex scenes that occur in the film
"You never see a gay actor getting asked what it's like to play straight -- to my knowledge, at least, there is no difference in how heterosexual and homosexual people fall in love," he said.
Since his early "Harry Potter" days, Radcliffe has branched out to the Broadway stage, appearing in the drama "Equus," which required him to be nude on stage for a scene, and the Broadwa! y musical! revival of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." He also has an upcoming role in the miniseries "A Young Doctor's Notebook" with Jon Hamm.
Radcliffe talked about his early "Harry Potter" movies, noting that he didn't have a lot of on-set experience or formal acting training when he was hired for the role and that it is difficult for him to watch some of his early performances.
"I certainly wouldn't watch number three, I wouldn't watch the first two, I wouldn't watch four," he said of the franchise installments. "I might watch five ... I definitely wouldn't watch six."
Radcliffe also recently filmed the movie "Horns," based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Joe Hill. The movie is about a young man who wakes up one morning with a hangover and horns growing from his head.
The actor is set to appear at the 2013 Oscars ceremony along with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Channing Tatum and Charlize Theron. It will be Radcliffe's first time at the ceremony.
