Daniel Radcliffe Wants To Move Away From Just Being Harry Potter
Daniel Radcliffe doesnt think he can instantly shake off his most famous role as Harry Potter. He thinks it will take him a long time to move away from the popular film franchise and that it may even be a lifelong process but he doesnt mind because he is in love with his job and wants to be involved in it for the rest of his life:
Ive always said that its a long process, and in a way it may be a lifelong one. Its about proving to people that Im in this for the long haul, and that I wasnt just looking to get as famous as I could for as long as I could and ride that out. I love almost every aspect of this industry and I want to be in it, and if I could drop dead on a film set at 80, thats how Id want to go.
Opening up on not being able to watch himself in Harry Potter, Daniel admits he wouldnt be up for watching any of the films except for possibly the fifth installment. He certainly wouldnt want to sit down and watch the first three:
I certainly wouldnt watch number three, I wouldnt watch the first two, I wouldnt watch four. I might watch five. I definitely wouldnt watch six.
