Actor up for Fabio Capello's job even though he knows nothing about football.

Daniel Radcliffe would take the England manager's job if the world went mad and he was offered the job.

The actor's latest film, The Woman In Black, was released last week and Radcliffe revealed he'd love the chance to do something different.

He told Absolute Radio: "If they offered it to me I'd definitely say yes. I know nothing about football but that would probably be a bit of a change."

But with the chances of being given the England job about as likely as Rupert Grint winning the 100m at the London Olympics, Radcliffe is looking ahead to future film projects, including playing Harry Potter's Dad.

He added: "In the inevitable remakes, I've decided I'd quite like to play James Potter."

Radcliffe's next post-Potter film will be thriller Kill Your Darlings, which recently added Michael C. Hall, Kyra Sedgwick and Jennifer Jason Leigh to the cast. The film is scheduled for release next year.

The Woman In Black is on release now.
