Daniel Radcliffe to co-star with Zoe Kazan in indie comedy The F Word

Daniel Radcliffe is certainly filling his post-Harry Potter resume with an eclectic collection of roles. After starring in this years horror film The Woman in Black, the actor has signed on to star in a thriller, Horns and now an indie comedy titled The F Word.

Variety reported Tuesday that Radcliffe will co-star in The F Word with Ruby Sparks actress Zoe Kazan. The indie comedys script was written by The Samaritan writer Elan Mastai with Goon director Michael Dowse set to helm the project.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film was acquired by Canadian distributor Entertainment One, which will handle distribution in Canada and the U.K. The company will then sell distribution rights for other territories. UTA and Jamie Feldman will sell the film to distributors for the U.S.

No Trace Campings Jesse Shapira and David Gross will produce with Marc Stephenson and Hartley Gorenstein. The films executive producers will be Dowse and Jeff Arkuss and Mark Costa and Ford Oelman of Entertainment One.

Production will start on Aug. 15 in Toronto.

Radcliffe will star as a man trying to have a platonic relationship with the girl he likes, played by Kazan. Unfortunately, shes already in a relationship.

Over the weekend, Radcliffe was cast in Alexandre Ajas Horns, an adaptation of Joe Hills book.

Radcliffe has proven to be a star outside Harry Potter. Earlier this year, The Woman in Black grossed a surprising $127 million worldwide and has won acclaim for starring on Broadway in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He is also slated to star in Kill Yo ur Darlings.

Kazan is also set to star in another indie project called In Your Eyes, written by Joss Whedon. Ruby Sparks, with Paul Dano, hits theaters later this year.
