With the final Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie grossing more than $1 billion in 2011 the films starDaniel Radcliffe has been named Entertainment Weeklys Entertainer of the Year.

Not only did Radcliffe help launch the JK Rowling book series into the stratosphere of Hollywood success he also took on a successful turn in the Broadway musicalHow To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying where he stepped into the role that has been helmed by the likes of Robert Morse and Matthew Broderick.

Radcliffes broadway role earned him critical reviews and showcased an actor on the verge of extending their acting career well beyond the walls of Hogwarts.

Also featured on the list for 2011 was British singer Adele and X-Men actor Hugh Jackman, all of whom are non-natives to the United States and its Hollywood entertainment roots.

The full list of top performing entertainers will be features within the December 9 issue of Entertainment Weekly.
