Daniel Radcliffe named EW's Entertainer of the Year

Daniel Radcliffe has been playing Harry Potter since he was just 12 years old. Ten years and seven Harry Potter films later, hes being recognized by Entertainment Weekly as one of the best in the business.
Reuters reported the magazine named Radcliffe its 2011 entertainer of the year. And its not just because he killed Voldemort and can fly on a broomstick like a beast.
The 22-year-old is currently starring on Broadways How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying with John Larroquette.
Los Angeles Times reported the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical recently made it to 250 shows.
And while Radcliffe may not have any Tonys under his belt, he was named MTVs 2011 Actor Were Must Thankful For and has received much praise for his role as J. Pierrepont Finch in the musical.
He will continue playing Finch until New Years Day. Then Glees Darren Criss will assume the role for three weeks before Nick Jonas takes over the reigns for six months starting on January 24. Ugly Bettys Michael Urie and Beau Bridges are also set to join the cast next year.
Radcliffe also has another exciting venture. His latest film, a movie adaption of play The Woman in Black, hits theaters February 3.
