Radcliffe's Aussie sailing plans sink

Plans for an Australian sailing adventure for Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe have gone awry due to production problems with his latest film.

The British actor, 22, whose latest project sees him portray American poet Allen Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings, had lined up a three-week yachting trip in southern Australia with girlfriend Roseanne Cocker, reported Britain's Sunday Express newspaper.

But last-minute scene changes meant filming was shifted from Melbourne back to Radcliffe's home city of New York, scuppering the romantic cruise, the tabloid said.

Radcliffe, who told AAP earlier this year of his 'love' of Australia, has promised to return and take to the seas once the film is complete.
