Daniel Radcliffe heading to Toronto preview of post-'Potter' feature

TORONTO - "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe is heading to Toronto to preview his first post-Hogwarts feature, "The Woman in Black."

Alliance Films says Radcliffe will attend a red carpet premiere of the supernatural thriller on Jan. 26 at Toronto's TIFF Bell Lightbox.

Radcliffe stars as Arthur Kipps, a widowed lawyer who is sent to a remote village to sort out the affairs of a recently deceased eccentric. He soon learns that his client's house is haunted by a vengeful ghost.

Ciaran Hinds and Janet McTeer co-star in Radcliffe's first post-"Potter" film.

Radcliffe wrapped up the massively popular franchise last summer with "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2."

"The Woman In Black" opens across Canada on Feb. 3.

Radcliffe's "Potter" co-stars have also moved on from the franchise Emma Watson appeared in "My Week with Marilyn" and will be seen in the upcoming "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," while Tom Felton appeared in last year's sci-fi hit "Rise of the Planet of the Apes."
