VIDEO: Daniel Radcliffe Is 'Thrilled' Over Harry Potter Oscar Nominations

Last night we caught up with Daniel Radcliffe at 'The Woman In Black' premiere and he told us that he was absolutely "thrilled" that 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows - Part Two' had received three nominations for the Academy Awards.

The actor was full of praise for the teams behind the phenomenally successful franchise that have got three nods even though his co-star Alan Rickman failed to land a nomination for his role as Professor Snape - something that Radcliffe thought he strongly deserved.

The eighth and final film was named in the make-up, visual effects and art direction categories. The nominations were revealed on Tuesday in Los Angeles ahead of the awards at the Kodak Theatre on the 26th February.

The 22-year-old told Entertainmentwise: Im thrilled. I think we deserve those nominations.

My friends in hair and makeup have all been recognised and thats a huge thing for me and also the art design and special effects.

Daniel admitted that he does not think that he will be attending the ceremony next month, but promised to keep his fingers crossed for a win.
